Introduction to Motorcycling

Being able to ride a bicycle well, is an absolute prerequisite to riding a motorcycle. If a customer cannot ride a bicycle, then they should not even attempt to ride a motorcycle.

If you have never ridden a motorbike previously or are a complete novice to motorcycling but comfortable on two wheels this ITM course is perfect for you.

This course is also to be offered to students that fail to meet the required level of control during the off-road section of the CBT to better prepare them before re-taking the CBT again.

During the ITM your instructor will put you through various balance exercises.

Stopping Confidently

Turning the vehicle in a figure of eight

Understanding the controls

Your Professional DVSA instructor will work closely with you. He will support you throughout the ITM course and take the time to talk to you, outlining areas that need improvement or encourage you to move onwards towards a CBT.
